UST Inc. and the Almaty Region Administration have signed a memorandum of cooperation
UST Inc. and the Almaty Region Administration have signed a memorandum of cooperation. The parties have agreed to establish a partnership and identify key activities necessary for the implementation of the uST complex project along the route “Barlyk Market – Kaskelen.”

The project involves the construction of an 11.8-kilometer string rail overpass. It will significantly relieve the transport network of one of the most dynamically developing areas in the region, where daily passenger traffic reaches 180,000 people.
The uST complex will use modern flagship Karat U4-212 unmanned vehicles, capable of transporting up to 5,300 people per hour in one direction at an average speed of 112 km/h. The travel time between the terminal stations will be only 6 minutes.
"Signing the memorandum with the Almaty Region Administration is a strategically important step for UST Inc., confirming confidence in our technologies and opening up new prospects for the introduction of innovative transport in the region. This document provides a solid foundation for the start of long-term and productive cooperation. We are confident that the project will improve transport accessibility, quality of life, and the local environment," said Nadezhda Kosareva, General Director of UST Inc.
