Premium Interior and Architectural Lighting: The Design of the uPod for the Belarusian Sanatorium Has Been Approved
The development of the uST transport-infrastructure complex for a Belarusian sanatorium has entered a new stage: the client has approved the design of the uPod.

To transport guests from the hotel building to the spa center, engineers at UST Inc. have designed the U5 542-20 model, intended for six passengers. The cabin and stations are adapted for people with limited mobility, including space for a wheelchair.
The interior is tailored to the specifics of the resort: guests will be able to access the spa complex from the hotel without stepping outside. Boarding is possible right in slippers and a bathrobe. Emphasis is placed on tranquility, accessibility, and visual comfort.

The cabin features ergonomic seats, soft lighting, panoramic glazing, and a multimedia system. Premium materials and a muted color palette were used. A brighter design was initially considered, but after several consultations with UST Inc.’s design team, the client opted for pastel tones. The exterior design of the uPod has also been finalized. Key elements include panoramic windows and architectural contour lighting around the body, giving the vehicle a visually light appearance both day and night.
This project will become the first example of integrating uST technology into the infrastructure of a recreational complex in Belarus.
