TUV SW to Certify a Track Designed by UST Inc. at the uSky Centre
The international independent organization TUV SW Standardization Certifications starts certification of Test Track No. 4, which is located in the uSky Test & Certification Centre. The corresponding agreement was signed by Anatoli Unitsky, General Designer of UST Inc., and a representative of TUV SW Standardization Certifications Muhanad Muhammad Saied Al Hamouta.
The 2.4 km long string-rail overpass is designed to carry heavy cargo and passenger rolling stock (up to 60 tons, including shipping containers) at speeds of up to 150 km/h. It is going to be certified in two phases. The first phase is to test the supporting towers. And the second phase assumes a third-party evaluation and the issuance of a certificate for the entire test track. The document will apply to the cargo and passenger station and terminal, the supporting towers, and the semi-rigid track structure.
Earlier, uST Transport & Infrastructure Complex was certified by TUV SW at the uSky Test & Certification Centre. This certificate confirms the safety of the complex and applies to its essential components. The document was the basis for the company to obtain permission from the local authorities to commission the complex for pilot operation.
TUV SW Standardization Certifications is an organization delivering quality, safety and sustainability solutions, specializing in testing, inspection, auditing, certification and training. TUV SW is evaluated and accredited (including ISO 17020, ISO 17021) by various national and international accreditation agencies for professionalism, ethics, reliability, and independent certification evaluation.
