SWTUV Certification Obtained for a Key Element of the uST Transport Complex Power Supply System
uSky Transport has successfully completed the certification process for a rectifier unit designed for the traction power supply of the uST transport complex. The equipment has been confirmed to meet international safety standards by the independent inspection body SWTUV Certifications.
According to the final report, the device meets all necessary requirements for assembly quality, functionality, and electrical safety. During testing, specialists examined the grounding system, insulation resistance, proper functioning of protective mechanisms, and other critical components. All parameters comply with IEC 62109-1 and IEC 60364 standards.
The safety system’s response was also tested: in the event of a failure, it promptly triggered an alarm, confirming the reliability of the built-in monitoring and fault prevention mechanisms.
Special attention was given to the equipment’s resilience to external conditions. Testing was conducted at temperatures up to +40°C, and despite high loads, the cooling system operated steadily, ensuring uninterrupted performance of the rectifier unit.
This certification not only validates the high quality and safety of the equipment but also demonstrates uSky Transport’s commitment to advanced technological solutions. The electrification of the uST transport complex infrastructure enabled the uBus Karat to reach a speed of 120 km/h.
